Bowl With Outturned Rim.

Three-fourths of wall and rim missing.

Flaring ring foot; beveled resting surface; pointed underside, unglazed. Angular profile, overhanging rim. Three palmettes radiate from central rosette on floor, within rouletting. Fine, hard, micaceous, red fabric (2.5YR 5/6); metallic black glaze, brown in stacking circle.

Palmettes similar to those on moldmade bowls: e.g. P 11432 (Agora XXII, no. 30, p. 48, pls. 5, 94 [E 5:2]).
