Imitation Blister-ware Aryballos: Corinthian?

Handle, parts of rim, and most of bottom missing.

Flat bottom, reserved. Domed body with greatest diameter near bottom; slightly angular profile. Vertical and diagonal combed decoration on body. Short, thin neck made in one piece with body; widely flaring rim. Handle from shoulder to lip. Soft, fine, micaceous, reddish yellow fabric (7.5YR 7/6); red glaze inside, brown with red specks outside, mostly missing, lowest part of wall and resting surface probably unglazed.

Closely similar fabric and glaze: P 26006 (F 17:3, middle fill). A wheelmade imitation of latest stage of Corinthian blister-ware aryballoi, which is characterized by linear decoration (Corinth VII, iii, p. 147; cf. Broneer 1962, nos. 20, 21, pp. 24--25, pl. 12:f).
