Youth and tree. Fragment a (illustrated) preserves the wreathed head, shoulders, and upper part of the right arm of a youth to left, dressed in a himation. Behind him is a branch of the tree. Fragment b preserves the trunk of the tree; c and d, branches. Fragments e and f are without decoration. Below the figures, thin rays. Preliminary sketch. Dilute glaze: muscles. White (flaked): wreath; leaves of tree.
