Two non-joining fragments, a of lip and bowl, b of bowl. Reserved line at inside and outside at rim. Max. dim. a) 0.117, b) 0.07.

Fragment a preserves two warriors (head of one; head, shoulders, most of right arm of the other) bent over slightly to right. Each wears a low-crested helmet. The right holds a spear (shaft) pointing downward in his right hand, now missing. In front of him is a bit of reserve that looks like the tip of a spear hastily drawn. In the field:

Fragment b probably comes from the other side of the cup, for the glaze is not as shiny as it is on a. It shows the buttocks and the start of the thighs of a male to left. At his side is a

fold of drapery. At the right, part of another figure (drapery, a bit of one leg bent at the knee) to right. Preliminary sketch. Relief contour. Red: inscription.

Connected with the Chelis Group (Addenda and Corrigenda, p. 1135 to ARV2 one 80--81; not in ARV2).
