Title:   Kalathos Fragment: Patterned

Description:   Bell shaped bowl, with in curving flat rim. Handle attachment on exterior.
Brown on white buff slip.
ADDENDA 2018: Two joining sherds to a very large-sized kalathos with flat rim and partially-preserved horizontal handle.
The exterior and interior decoration is linear. There is a medium lip-band on the exterior. The handle preserves part of a splash of paint; it was likely tri-splashed.
The interior preserves a thick band beginning just below the lip. The upper surface of the rim is reserved with barred or triglyph decoration. The paint is thick and evenly applied, fired dark brown. There are no traces of use-wear or burning.
