Inventory Number:   B 2119
Section Number:   ΚΤΛ 1007
Title:   Statuette Head
Category:   Bronze
Description:   Head of bronze statuette; solid casting. Surface very worn due to chemical stripping of corrosion which resulted in loss of detail. Two holes in top of head perhaps for an attachment.
Golden green patina.
Belongs with B 412.
ADDENDA: In Nov 2004, head was identified as the missing female head of B 412, Y 244. As a result of the stripping, object looks somewhat different from 'before treatment' photo on front of blue card but shape and size correspond, as do the white corrosion spots on pitted chin.
