Title:   Statuette of Harpokrates

Description:   Base missing; figure mounted on modern wood base.
Standing figure, nude save for a goat skin which passes over his left shoulder.
Held in his left hand and resting along his left arm is a cornucopia which springs from a leafy calyx-like sheath and is topped with a large grape-cluster.
His right arm is bent, with the clasped fingers of the right hand held close to his chin.
His hair is dressed with a heavy broid along the crown, ringlets falling at the sides and the back and a single small curling lock at the center of the forehead.
Around the right arm near the shoulder, a thin groove, partly cover by a narrow flat band; ornament or join ?
Surface unusually good.
Context:   Well of Roman bath, bottom.
