Description: | Inscribed fragment. Part of toothed right side and rough picked back preserved; otherwise broken. About half the width of the stele is preserved. Seven lines of the preamble, and twenty-two lines of the names listed below, remain. The stone appears to have been trimmed to a roughly rectangular shape for use in a late Roman wall. Coarse reddish cement still clings to its sides. Hymettian marble. | |
