Description:   Inscribed grave stele.
A great stele, broken off at the top. Back and sides finished smooth. Two fine drafted lines run vertically down each side of the front face, near the edge, to 0.082m. from the bottom, where the stele was set into its cutting or socket.
As seen from the measurements, it tapers toward the top both as to width and thickness.
Stele of Theron.
Inscribed retrograde, 0.42m. up from the bottom; probably painted.
Pentelic (?) marble.
Context:   Found in the wall of the modern house 637/5, east of the southern part of the Odeion.
