Description:   Inscribed column drum.
The drum is one of a series which have been used in building the wall. Found stands upright in the tower.
Two dowel cuttings in the top. It was uncovered in the earlier excavations here.
Honorary monument.
The inscription begins 0.12m. below the top of the drum.
Nine lines of the inscription preserved.
Hymettian marble.
Context:   Found in the tower of the late Roman Fortification, northwest of the Eleusinion.
