Description:   Large inscribed block. White marble, probably Pentelic. All surfaces carefully finished and decorated in low flat relief. The top surface is inscribed with three lines of text, reading:
[Ο]Ι ΕΠΙΜΕΛΗΤΑΙ ΤΩΙ ΛΕΩΙ ΑΝΕΘΗΣΑΝ
ΣΤΕΦΑΝΩΘΕΝΤΕΣ ΥΠΟ ΤΗΣ ΦΥΛΗΣ
ΔΙΚΑΙΟΣΥΝΗΣ ΕΝΕΚΑ
The letters are ca. 0.015-0.018 m. high and look 4th century BC with no serifs. Cf. IG II2 2818, IG II2 1151, IG II2 1152.
Notes:   Probably associated with Late Roman Tank L 3:2
Context:   Found reused as part of a Late Roman feature during excavation of fill east of the test trench and south of the enclosure blocks in South Section.
