Description: | Fragments of wall, small bit of rim, and part of end of spout missing. Plump jug on small flat bottom; wide open top; lip slightly inturned, bridged from back to front by a high rising basket handle, round in section. At the front, just below the handle attachment is a rather large spout (apparently with cutaway lip), set at an angle. Coarse red to brown clay. Middle Helladic. | |
