Title:   Amphora Fragment: Bucchero

Description:   Black Bucchero. Upper part only preserved; much mended. Part of the lip, and the top of one handle, missing, as well as all the body below the shoulder. Short neck; flaring rim, depressed on the inside to serve as a ledge for a lid.
Dull gray micaceous clay, burnished outside, but unglazed.

Context:   In front of E.W. retaining wall, just above cobble pavement. Context ca. 375-340 B.C.
