Description:   Base and lower body missing. Piriform body; flaring neck; thickened lip with vertical face; strap handle lip to shoulder with imitations of rivet heads at points of attachment; raised ring at junction of neck and shoulder.
Fine pinkish (non-Attic) clay, lighter slip; unglazed.
ADDENDA Added March 1998 (JWH) b) possible base, from same context, thin conically indented, with small knob under center. Micaceous fabric; probably from W. Asia Minor.
Context:   Well in cistern to west of Tholos, latest Roman.
