Title:   Stamnos with Glaze Decoration

Description:   Full profile preserved; missing pieces restored in plaster. Base ring; low bulging body; two horizontal ridged strap handles, just above point of greatest diameter; wide flange for cover just below low slightly inturned rim.
Decorated in red: two bands at upper side of handle attachments and traces of garland(?) design above; vertical lines run up from handle attachments.
Pale greenish-gray to buff clay. Buff slip. Rim broken and repaired with rivet.
Context:   Cistern.
