Title:   Black Figure Lekythos

Description:   Mended from ten pieces. Neck missing, as well as upper portion of back and parts of figured scene of Dionysos seated between satyrs. Satyrs on either side advance right, the one to the left bringing grapes; most of the other satyr missing. Accessory red (fairly well preserved) for Dionysos' wreath and folds of his cloak. Palmettes, widely spaced, on shoulder. Back of figured zone plain, as are outside and underside of base. Rather careless work; glaze unevenly fired.
