Description: | Most of mouth, neck and some of upper body [of pithos?] preserved. Much chipped, apparently, at ground-line. Wide flaring mouth with plain lip, slightly thickened and flattened on top. Neck merging imperceptibly into long sloping shoulder. Inner edge of lip scored with rope marks. Heavy fabric of micaceous red to brown clay. Non-joining fragments and fragments of another(?) pithos in tins 41-42. | |
