Title:   Bowl Fragment with Sgraffito Decoration: Bird

Description:   Mended from four fragments; the bottom and nearly half the sides preserved.
On the inside fine highly iridescent cream glaze, peeled off in three spots from contact with tripod in kiln; sgraffito bird, right. On the outside, same glaze, decorated with sgraffito loops and lines and with streaks of green and yellowish brown glaze. Brown glaze at the rim. Small ring foot, unglazed, save for accidental splashes of the glaze and underlying slip.
Dark pink clay, fine fabric.
Context:   At various points nearby and ca. same depth were found Coins 1-6, Coins 7-15 also from this general area and depth.
