Title:   Plate: West Slope

Description:   Half preserved, mended from two pieces. Hollow plate on ring foot; rim very slightly down-turned. Reserved groove on rim; another on floor over foot. Floral decoration on floor in added white and yellow; at center, vine motif; around outer part, ivy garland.
Firm, rather metallic black glaze except for grooves.
Context:   Underground drain at west end of section, top fill.
