Description: | Profile preserved to within foot ring. From a plate with very low ring foot, almost flat floor and vertical rim. Within the rim, a broad border of interlocking bands against an imbricated background; at the inner edge of the fragment, traces of the beaded border of a central medallion. Light greenish-yellow glaze inside; white slip and thin, almost colorless glaze outside, thicker around rim. Light red clay. | |
