Title:   Black Glaze Acrocup

Description:   Fragments of wall and chips from rim missing. A deep round-bodied cup with straight flaring rim, the bowl separated from the substantial stem by a heavy moulded ring painted in added purple. The stem and foot form a continuous curve; the edge of the foot is rounded, the underside slopes upward to a hollow cone. Heavy up-tilted handles, rounded at the ends, set on wall just below rim.
Very good black glaze; the underside within the foot reserved.
