Description:   Two joining fragments preserve the floor, most of the foot, and a section of the rim. Small open bowl on low ring foot with broad resting surface. The outer wall forms a concave curve continuous with the outer face of the foot. The rim thickened, rounded on the outer face, and set off from the lower wall by a groove and a ridge. The underside of the foot decorated with a broad glazed band around a reserved disk and a narrow circle of glaze at the center.
Very heavy fabric. The glaze fired irregularly; red on the floor from stacking, and red on the outside to the rim. The rim black outside; inside to the floor, chocolate brown.
Context:   Well, upper fill.
