Title:   Black Figure Lekythos

Description:   The foot and much of the wall to the shoulder preserved. Two warriors, one at the left, attacking the second, who kneels on one knee and thrusts backwards with his spear. Both wear crested helmets, corselets over a short pleated chiton; shields, greaves and swords. At right, a woman: chiton and himation, worn like a scarf over her shoulders; she runs right, hands upraised, and looks back towards the fighters.
Free use of added purple. White ground. Glaze fired gray to red; dotted zigzag above scene.
Context:   House T, Room 2-W, Kalikia fill in pit through floor. = House D
