Title:   Bowl Fragment with Rouletting: Stamped

Description:   Part of P 1521. Late Roman A bowl fragment. The low ring base is about one-quarter preserved with a corresponding section of convex side and ridged rim. Band of conventionalized flowers on the interior bounded by concentric circles of which there are five others further out from the center. Rouletting on exterior does not reach to foot but leaves a plain zone at the sharpest turn of the side from vertical toward the horizontal. The rim of the lip is triangular in section with its widest part at the bottom, and is decorated by three grooves.
Hard red clay with a thin red wash.
