Title:   Stamnos with Graffiti

Description:   Fragments missing from wall; restored. Broad ovoid jar on high flaring ring foot; plain vertical rim. Heavy rolled horizontal handles set just above point of greatest diameter; a thumb impression at each attachment and a raised boss on wall to either side. Three wheel-run grooves around shoulder marking handle zone.
Graffiti on shoulder: on one side, Η; on the other side, in larger letters: Π, Η, Η
Micaceous red fabric, gray at core (cooking ware); undecorated; black stains on surface.
