Description: | Part of mouth, of shoulder and half of handle, missing. General type as P 24316 (ΣΑ 2526): This is the characteristic general type for the large proportion of the lekythoi from this group. Bell mouth with variations in height and spread; lip usually reserved, occasionally glazed. Disk foot of varying thickness; below picture either one or two reserved lines. Added colors more or less well preserved. Only substantial variations are noted in the following descriptions. Top of mouth glazed. Shoulder: strokes above rays. Scene: draped figure holding staff(?), seated right between eyes. | |
