Title:   Chytra Fragment

Description:   Wall fragment from large chytra, preserving spout with part of angular wall and start of flaring rim. Large spout, ridged near wall; round mouth with flat rim. Neat pointed lugs to either side of spout, one preserved, and a trace of the other.
Red micaceous clay, well blackened from use.
Context:   Central House, room XI, central; strosis 3, north side, gravel packing. Pre-Persian context, to ca. 480 B.C.
