Title:   Black Glaze Cup: Type C

Description:   Mended from many pieces. About half of rim preserved; base complete except for chip; both handles missing. Reserved: inside, edge of rim; medallion in center decorated with small black circle; outside, handle zone and narrow band below, edge and resting surface of foot, inside of stem. On the underside of the foot and the inside of the stem, scratches or cracks in the glaze, resembling letters, have fired black against the red, mottled glaze.
Rather poor glaze, unevenly fired.
