Title:   Black Glaze Cup: Type C

Description:   Mended from many pieces; about half the rim and most of the bowl preserved; the base and stem complete. Both handles missing but traces of their attachment preserved. The rim and bowl strengthened with plaster. Reserved: the outer edge of the foot and the resting surface. Two incised lines around the base of the stem.
Very unevenly fired; the glaze mottled, from sealing-wax red to black. The center inside red with a black ring round it, as if from stacking in kiln.
