Title:   Situla Fragment with Plastic Attachment: Head

Description:   Fragment preserves part of a flat rim from which rises the stump of what is probably a vertical loop handle. Under the rim, affixed to the bulging belly of the bowl, is a plastic head of which the lower part and right side are broken away. Coarse features and ridged brows beneath summarily indicated hair.
Medium coarse pinkish clay.
