Title:   Black Figure Stand Fragments

Description:   Seven fragments make up to four.
a) Male head and upper part of torso; behind him the hands, reins and whip of a charioteer. Black band on interior of fragment.
b) Two joining fragments. Woman's feet and bottom of dress standing above a border of curves and rays. The curves and feet are painted white. Interior, two glazed bands.
c) Lower part of draped figure in chariot, and tails and hind legs of horses preserved. One horse's leg painted white. Black band on interior.
d) Three joining fragments. Lower part of two draped figures. Interior decorated with black band.
Context:   Fragment ΜΣ 1282: West end of Middle Stoa, south of Pier 1, level 16. Fragment Σ 1301: West end of Middle Stoa, south of Pier 1, E.-W. cut below road 6, level 57 (frag. a) and level 62 (frag. b).
