Title:   Black Glaze Askos

Description:   Missing most of handle and most of lip. Ring foot, squat rounded body. Narrow, tapering neck. Shoulder marked off by a scraped ridge, showing remains of red. Ring handle set just below ridge. On shoulder painted garland of ivy leaves, paint much worn. Ring foot set off by groove; also grooved resting surface.
Metallic black glaze, crackled and peeling.
Context:   Cistern and well in Marble Worker's House.
