Title:   Plate with Glaze Decoration

Description:   Mended from twelve fragments; preserved is about one-half of plate. Low base ring, shallow bowl. Flaring down-turned lip with a low ridge rising from its inner edge. Two holes in rim. Top of rim reserved with large dots in dilute glaze. On floor in reserved area, alternating concentric bands and ring of dots in black dilute glaze. On foot resting surface reserved. At center of underside, in reserved area, rings in dilute paint. Exterior careless dilute wash.
Dull black glaze. Pink clay.
Context:   Cistern and well in Marble Worker's House.
