Description:   Mended from many pieces. Top, bottom, most of one side missing.
A) Left to right: draped man facing right, holds staff; hoplite with helmet, spear, greaves, shield with cross and four dots in white, facing left; horse facing right; hoplite with greave, helmet, spear, shield with cross and four dots in white, facing left.
B) Left to right: Scythian facing left; chariot probably with four horses, facing right with man behind chariot facing left; two hoplites facing left, one with white shield, one with shield with cross and dots in white.
Ground line plain, side border ivy leaves. Upper border tongue pattern. Fragments of rim are ivy pattern. Much added purple. Pot is badly misfired.
Glazed red to black. Red clay.
Conservation Status:   Finished
Context:   Found inside P 29981, used as clay receptacle.
