Title: | Red Figure Mug or Chous Fragment
Category: | Pottery | |
Description: | Single fragment broken all around. Satyr with frontal body, looking left, probably walking right. He holds a thyrsos in his left hand. Beginning of lip seems too flaring for a mug but interior quite well glazed, which is unusual for a chous. Shiny glaze outside, slightly brownish inside. Orange clay. Aditional fragment joins P 30045, the other although it does not join, preserves the legs of a satyr of P 30045 and becomes fragment b).
