N.B. This ostrakon was mislaid in the course of handling the large amount of pottery from the Crossroads Enclosure. The above record is based on an informal note made by E. Vanderpool at the time of discovery. This note gives the date of finding from which deposit number and layer can be deduced, a minuscule text, and the letters Η and Σ in majuscule. A rough copy made on the back of an envelope was also made by E. Vanderpool.
