Description: | From the wall of a krater. At the right, the head, left, and part of the wing of Eros(?). At the left, on the level of this head, the hind leg of a rearing horse, and part of a chariot wheel(?). The horse's foot is about to rest on a square reserved area, at the lower left edge of the fragment. Streaks of white paint, suggesting flames, and suggesting an altar, rise from this object. Relief contours for horse, wheel and altar; none for the winged figure. White wreath, once gilded, for this figure. | |
