Description:   Rim and edge of floor, mended from two pieces. Flat floor with wide raised step around edge, bearing six lines of faint notches; low vertical rim with mouldings at top and bottom, and an applied 'spectacle-spiral' (one end lost).
Red clay, brilliant red gloss.
Perhaps Puteoli ware. Italian Terra Sigillata.
