Description: | The fragments come from the wall, not far below the lip. A large vine encircles the vase, with leaves resembling ivy leaves, and very large lumpy berries, branching out above and below the main stem. These were applied separately to the wheelmade pot. The black glaze is very much worn and chipped, inside and out. Joins P 20593. | |
