Description: | Body complete (one fragment joined at neck), missing handle and parts of rim. Black glaze worn and flaking. Flat bottom, slightly concave. Ovoid body with slight bevel at junction with tall, concave shoulder. Flaring, trefoil mouth. Attachment for strap handle at top of body. Painted solid on exterior, rim interior and possibly on underside of foot. Fine pinkish clay; dull black glaze. No parallel in Agora XII for trefoil mouth. | |
