Title:   Black Glaze Phiale Fragments: Six's Technique

Description:   Three rim fragments (2 joining) and two joining wall to floor fragments. Continuous curve from lip into bowl. Exterior reserved with wide black glazed band at rim. Lip reserved. Interior black glazed with decoration in Six's technique: on rim right-slanting diagonal lines in added white, thin horizontal line and row of dots below. On floor: two rows of dots, smaller diagonal lines towards center.
Fine orange clay; dull black glaze.
