Description:   Five joining sherds preserve greater part of base and floor. Upper surface crazed in places. Floor scratched from use.
Shallow floor on low ledge-like foot. A circular band of stamped "lotus" motifs on floor (Hayes, LRP, motif 12), pointing inward, 7 out of original 8 stamps preserved, and flanked within and outside by shallow grooves.
Orange-red clay and slip.
Phocean red slip ware.
Original shape: Hayes LRP late form 2 or early form 3.

Context:   Black layer below gravel.
