Description: | Upper portion of amphora preserving rim, one complete handle, the other only upper attachment, complete neck, and part of shoulder. Mouth flares slightly to tight, rounded interior edge of slightly chipped rim. Flat top surface, heavy rounded rim with smooth turn down to neck wall. Tall relief band at top of neck; wide shallow relief band below. Nearly white fabric, fairly smooth pale greenish-white core. Heavily resinated. | |
