Title:   Late Sgraffito Glazed Bowl Fragment
Category:   Pottery
Description:   Single square wall fragment with chipped remains of rim.
Sloping wall, slightly ribbed at top, with low upturned rim.
Light tan-brown clay with red-brown grits, etc. Dull yellow glaze on interior and over rim, laid over a cream slip, exposed in a band on exterior below rim. Coarse sgraffito patterns on interior; large radiating leaves (?) combined with radial wavy line with dashes, rows of large impressed dots and a trace of cross-hatching.
Style as P 2439, P 3198, P 4481, q.v., with red slip dressing here omitted.
From W. Greece? 13th century?
