Title:   Dinos Fragment

Description:   Rim fragment of shallow dinos with portion of shoulder; broken at sides, glaze chipped and slightly pitted on exterior. Mended from three fragments.
Short vertical rim with flat top, slight ridge at lip. Round shoulder.
Two dogs chasing a hare to the left. In the field, zig-zag pattern, vertical wavy line, dots, and hourglass. Above, four horizontal bands. Along exterior rim, vertical bars.
Thin metallic black glaze on interior.
In the manner of the Workshop of Athens 894 or 897.
Late 8th or early 7th c. B.C.
