Title:   Piriform Jar

Description:   Nearly complete. Missing one handle; badly chipped at rim and body; paint flaking.
Piriform body, low neck, wide mouth with flaring rim. Two small horizontal handles on shoulder; break for attachment of a third. Splaying ring foot. Painted solid: rim, interior and exterior of neck, and handles. On shoulder, between handles, scale pattern. On belly and lower body, parallel, horizontal banding. Underside unpainted.
Reddish-orange to dark brown paint. Fine, pinkish-yellow fabric.
Mycenaean LHIIIA2.
