Title:   Vertical-Handled Amphoriskos
Category:   Pottery
Description:   Large part of vessel preserved including both handles, mended from five fragments; missing part of neck and rim, edge of foot badly chipped. Paint peeling, poorly preserved on one side of the belly.
Low conical foot, not leveled making the pot tilted. Rounded, globular body; small vertical neck flaring to out-turned rim; two vertical handles from shoulder to rim each with hole pierced through vertically.
Shoulder zone (enclosed between single painted band) is decorated with two bands of dogtooth, the lower band is outlined, the upper band is painted solid, median band separate the two bands. The handles are decorated with ladder decoration.
Painted solid: neck and outer rim, lower part of body and upper part of foot.
Orange-buff clay. Thick matte black glaze.
