Title:   Bowl with Painted Decoration

Description:   Mended from seven fragments. Whole of base with most of lower wall and about one-third of upper wall. Full profile preserved. Glaze worn. Three non-joining rim fragments (b, c, d) and a wall fragment (e).
High straight wall separated by lower wall by two grooves. Flat rim sloping inwards and defined on exterior with four grooves.
Dipped in a thin brownish red glaze down to lower body. Vertical rim decorated with a continuous floral pattern painted with thick creamy white-gray paint. The lip of the rim is ridged with 4 grooves.
Pale orange fabric.

Conservation Status:   Finished
Context:   Found in level three of fill in the western third of the tank north of the southern wall of the Late Roman feature in South Section.
