Description: | Slightly concave neck with projecting echinus lip; below, moulded ring dividing it from the shoulder. Rim glazed black outside, on top and for ca. 0.40 m. inside, where there is also a purple band. Moulded ring at base of neck red; on shoulder the beginning of tongue pattern, alternating red to black. On the front of the neck, palmette and lotus cross, lotuses vertical, palmettes horizontal. Red retouches. Attic clay; very Tyrrhenian. | |
