Description:   Half of a circular object broken away above or below, as the case may be. The upper(?) side convex, glazed black. Around the lower edge five little drain holes, into which the glaze has trickled. The bottom slightly concave; well finished; unglazed.
Attic clay; thick glaze, heavy fabric.
ADDENDA AWP suggests boss of phiale intended for libations.
